Under the leadership of Mike Conway, Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. has developed comprehensive sales and marketing plans which have maximized WHI's portfolio of owned/managed hotels' market share, revenues and profits. The importance WHI has placed on sales and marketing will continue to accelerate as the marketplace becomes even more diverse and competitive.
Mike, a 29 year veteran at WHI, is a 1976 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with concentrations in marketing and management. Mike is a native of Kentucky and worked in various hotel positions throughout high school and college. He has served the company in various positions such as General Manager, Regional Sales Director, District Director of Operations and Vice President-Marketing. In 2000, Mike was promoted to Senior Vice President-Marketing. Mike's scope of responsibilities include business development, commissioned sales teams, national sales support, direct marketing programs, e-commerce, revenue and distribution channel management.
