Cincinnati Airport Marriott Hotel Awarded Kentucky Colonel
Title
Designated during Best Place to Work Celebration
CINCINNATI - November 16, 2006 - Today, every associate at
the Cincinnati Airport Marriott Hotel will be bestowed the
coveted title of "Kentucky Colonels" by State Representative
Addia Wucher (Republican, Boone County). The award came as
a result of the state representative attending a recent event
at the hotel where she was so impressed by the product and
service delivery, she asked to honor the associates with the
distinguished title.
The award will be presented during a celebration of another
award for the hotel as one of Business Courier's "Greater
Cincinnati Best Place to Work" program. One of 16 local
companies awarded, this is the second consecutive year for
the hotel to be recognized. Companies submit nominations for
the program and their employees complete a Web-based, confidential
survey, which is compiled and scored.
Contributing to the hotel's win is the team that Paul O'Connor,
the General Manager, has put together. He personally hires
every associate employed by the hotel, and takes time to recognize
excellence in the workplace. Employees who are complimented
by hotel patrons receive both peer recognition and a personalized
note to their home. Every associate pledges their commitment
to 100% customer satisfaction by doing things such as addressing
every guest, escorting guests rather than pointing out directions,
"owning" customer requests and complaints and following
up to ensure their satisfaction.
Associates also pledge to make positive contributions to
their working environment and to maintain the highest standards
in Product Quality, demonstrating pride in themselves and
their hotel.

"Both of these awards are excellent recognition for our
team of dedicated and talented associates."

Life Insurance Company/Eagle Realty.
