Cincinnati’s First Full-Service Hotel to Provide Total Wireless High Speed Internet Access
CINCINNATI, OH — October 3, 2003 - The Cincinnati Marriott Northeast has become the first full service hotel in the
Greater Cincinnati area to provide total wireless high speed Internet access.
Guest-Tek, installed wireless Internet access, “Wi-Fi” in all guestrooms,
meeting rooms and public space in the hotel. Guests can now roam throughout the
hotel; pool, exercise room, restaurant, and atrium/lobby and stay connected to
the Internet.
A wireless antenna device is available at no charge to the guest for laptops
that do not have a wireless card. For $9.95 per day, Marriott’s “Wired for
Business” includes the wireless high speed internet access plus free local and
domestic long distance phone calls.
“The guests have loved the freedom that the wireless access gives them,” said
Carmine DiGiacamo, general manager for the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast. “
Today, the business traveler has the need to be flexible and more productive and
with wireless we can provide that in a comfortable setting of their choosing in
the hotel.”
Ideally situated in the Northeast suburb of Mason at the Fields Ertel exit
off I-71, the hotel is near many major corporations including Procter &
Gamble Health Care Research, Anthem, Lenscrafters, and GE Card Services. The 302
guestrooms are accompanied by more than 14,000 square feet of flexible meeting
space and the RiverCity Grille restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner.
The hotel is owned by a partnership of two Cincinnati based companies, Eagle
Realty Group and Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. and managed by Winegardner
& Hammons, Inc. The Cincinnati Airport Marriott located one mile from the
Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport and also managed by

month.
