CINCINNATI, OH August 1, 2001 - Kent Bruggeman is
promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Winegardner &
Hammons, Inc. (WHI), effective October 1, 2001.
Bruggeman, whose office is at WHI Corporate Office in Blue Ash (a suburb of Cincinnati), has overall
responsibilities for human resources at WHI and its more than 30 properties
nationwide.

A 20-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Bruggeman has worked for WHI since 1990, most recently as
Vice President of Region I. Prior to that he was a General Manager or an
Assistant General Manager at WHI-managed hotels in Ohio, Maryland and Nevada.

Two of the many honors that Bruggeman has received of which he is most proud were accepted when he was
General Manager of the Marriott Cincinnati-Northeast: (1) the 1999 Marriott
Hotel of the Year award and (2) the number-one ranking in the world during 1999
from Marriott International on their Associate Opinion Survey for "Overall Job
Satisfaction."
Bruggeman and his wife, Susan, reside in West Chester with their two children. He has been President of
the Warren County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and is a member of the Greater
Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau's Tourism Committee.
