Final Letters for Hotel Name To Be Hung Friday Morning
PITTSBURGH, PA — May 22, 2003 - Winegardner & Hammons, Inc has announced that the new 295 room Pittsburgh
Marriott North at Cranberry is scheduled to open July 11, 2003. Located at 100
Cranberry Woods Drive, at the intersection of I-79 and Rt. 228, this latest
addition to the Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites portfolio is owned by Eagle
Realty Group and Winegardner & Hammons, Inc.
The letters M, A, R, R are in place on the building as of today, with the
remainder to be hung Friday, May 23, between 8:30 and 11:00 a.m., completing the
familiar M-A-R-R-I-O-T-T brand name.
Located north of Pittsburgh in Cranberry Township, the eight story hotel
features 14,000 square feet of meeting space, including eight executive board
rooms and a fully equipped business center. Guest rooms offer "The Room that
Works" with moveable desk, ergonomic chair, voice mail, data ports and
high-speed Internet access. The property also offers a Concierge lounge, the
River City Grille Restaurant, a fitness center, indoor lap pool and gift
shop.
