CINCINNATI AIRPORT MARRIOTT CAPTURES PRESTIGIOUS
“HOTEL OF THE YEAR” AWARD FOR 2003
CINCINNATI, OH February 19, 2004 - The Cincinnati Airport Marriott has been named “Hotel of the Year” for 2003 by
Marriott International, Inc., surpassing more than 300 full-service Marriott
hotels nationwide for the prestigious honor.
To receive this award, hotels are evaluated based on four primary criteria:
financial results, Associate Opinion Survey, Guest Satisfaction Survey, and
market share. The hotel excelled in all four categories, earning it the
organization’s highest distinction.
“This award is a tribute to our team and those who support our hotel. It is
also great recognition for our community,” said General Manager Paul O’Connor.
One of the area’s premier hotels, the Cincinnati Airport Marriott offers
upscale design, unparalleled service, and an ideal location. In the fall of
2003, it became one of the first full-service hotels in the Greater Cincinnati
area to provide total wireless high speed internet access. Guests enjoy wireless
access in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and in public spaces throughout the hotel.
Its 295 deluxe guest rooms span eight floors, with each room providing remote
control cable TV, phones with voicemail and multiple data ports.
For the business traveler, the Cincinnati Airport Marriott offers “The Room
that Works” – individual work stations in more than 200 of the 295 guest rooms.
There is also a business center, concierge level, secretarial service, and an
executive fitness center. For meetings, receptions, or any business or social
event, the hotel also offers 15 meeting rooms totaling 14,000 square feet of
meeting space.
