WASHINGTON February 4, 2002 - Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) announced that the 295-room
Hartford/Windsor Marriott Airport hotel opened February 4, 2002, in Windsor,
Conn. Located at 28 Day Hill Road, this latest addition to the Marriott Hotels,
Resorts and Suites portfolio is owned by a partnership consisting of Western
& Southern Life Insurance Co./Eagle Realty Group and Winegardner &
Hammons, Inc. and is managed by Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. The hotel plans
to employ 150 associates.
Situated just six miles south of Bradley International Airport and six miles
north of downtown Hartford, the new Marriott offers convenient access to
corporate offices such as CIGNA, Konica, Kaman, Aetna Healthcare, Hartford
Insurance, Hamilton Sundstrand and Aseae Brown Boveri. Area attractions nearby
include the University of Hartford, New England Air Museum, Six Flags New
